Luton General Cemetery (Rothesay Road)

102 war graves reside in Luton General Cemetery, 58 of those graves date from The First World War. Many of them are Lutonians who died in hospitals in town e.g. Bute Hospital, Wardown Park V.A.D. Hospital. Others died elsewhere but were able to come home one final time to be interned in their local cemetery.Ralph Mantz's head stone Rothesay Road Cemetery

You can find details of those who died whilst on service, and now lie in this cemetery, on the 'related items' side bar. This list will grow longer as more research is undertaken.

Full details of the casulties interned here can be found at the Commonwealth War Graves site. Although we aim to expand upon the information by combining multiple sources including genealogical records, and community input.
