Under the old organisation, the Left Wing was comprised of the 3/5^th and 3/6^th and 3/7^th London Brigades, R.F.A.

 On the 14^th April, 1916 a re-organisation took place, and, in consequence, four Batteries were formed, “A”, “B”, “C” and “D”

“C” Battery comprising the 3/5^th and 3/6^th London Brigades, R.F.A., while the 3/7^th became part of “D” Battery.

The original formation of the Battery was as follows:-
