Details imported from Luton Absent Voters list and the National Roll of the Great War (Section V). Killed in Action August 1918 aged 20.
The National Roll (mostly submitted by families) describes his service as follows: Volunteering in November 1915 he was drafted to the Western Front on completion of his training in February 1916. While there he took an active part in many important battles, including those of the Somme, Arras. Cambrai and the Retreat and Advance of 1918, and was killed in action on the Cambrai front on August 23rd 1918. He was entitled to the General Service and Victory Medals.
Commonwealth War Graves records show that he was the son of Edward Hull of Sundon.
