So. Here we are at last. It's been several months in the making, plenty of moments of discovery...and a lot of new people met and things learned along the way.

The Great War Stories website is up and running, and just getting ready for the big launch at the end of March 2014. This will begin the next few years of reflection and commemoration as the world remembers the years 1914 - 1918, when war consumed the worlds great powers, and put them through the meat grinder.

More than 9 million combatants were killed out of 70 million military personnel. The 5th most deadly was in human history, but one that lead to great social and economic change.

The Blog will highlight many interesting topics and events held within this site...So keep an eye on it if you want to know more about what you could find if you search through the site.
